Newest Addition!!!

We finally got to meet our newest grandson, Fox Andrew Burton. Born June 20, 2008.
Holding Fox for the 1st time!!!!
Eden sure has grown since the last time I saw her.

Grandpa reading Fox a story. He is so excited to have another grandson to take fishing.
Spending time with Eden and Fox

Mommy and baby. Doesn't she look great!!

Fox 's first bath. He didn't even cry!!!

While Grandpa put in the new dishwasher, Eden played in the box.
Eden loved for us to read stories before bedtime.
Eden loves her little brother.

Fox meets Annabeth.

Check out how big Fox's feet are, just as big as Annabeth's.

Bela enjoyed the bubble machine that we got Eden for her birthday.

Aunt Betty and Uncle Ed drove up to visit on the 4th of July. We grilled out in the rain and had a great time.

Annual Crawfish Boil

Maggie wasn't able to go to our annual crawfish boil but she did get her hair and nails done. She even had red white and blue bows in her hair. Julie, she sure does miss you!

It was a beautiful day at Angie's.Holli was sad that none of her favorite cousins were there.
Well, Sara was there but none of my girls were there, but we had fun.

The crawfish was great, David even had enough room for dessert.

She's Here!!!

David & I became grandparents for the 5th time. Laura gave birth to Annabeth on May 2nd.She weighed 6lbs and 15 oz.Laura did a great job during the delivery and Brent survived the whole experience. I know now why she had so much indigestion during her pregnancy, Annabeth has a full head of hair. We are so glad to finally have her here. I even let Grandpa hold her for a little while.

After an exhausting day into this new little world of hers, as you can see she was pooped and glad to be in her mommy's arms.

Laura's Baby Shower

We had Laura's baby shower yesterday at Rosemary's house. Everything turned out so beautiful, Rosemary did such a great job of hosting. We had lots of yummy food and a nice time visiting with friends and family. I think Laura and Brent have everything they need to welcome baby Annabeth into their family.

While the girls were at the shower, David was out at the lake trying to catch dinner! Let's just say he was successful! He caught 9 big fish! Too bad Seth & Ryan couldn't come this trip. They missed out on a good fishing day and a great fish fry!

First Post

I too have joined the world of blogging! I have to keep up with my girls! Funny how whenever one of them comes into town I suddenly seem to contract some illness. Stomach flu seemed to be going around on Tuesday! Just in time to spend some time with Shelley, Seth, Emma and Erin. We did a little shopping on the boardwalk although their favorite part was just riding up and down the boardwalk on the trolley. We also took the kids to see Horton Hears a Who.
